Ian “Dicko” Dickson and the Australian Idol crew rocked into Kalgoorlie on the weekend for auditions.
I’m not really into that scene but the kids and stargazers were rather excited and we gave it good coverage in the Kalgoorlie Miner.
By all accounts Dicko is a very nice bloke. He gave quality time to all the people he met, spent a good half hour with the lady who won our “Date with Dicko” competition and he visited the local nursing home.
