We’re having trouble catching the mice. The first trap we laid attracted two nibbles within five minutes of being placed down, but the targets escaped on both occasions. Only on the third attempt did we catch one.
I bought four new traps at the supermarket, but Juliet says they’re useless. She set all four and the mice boldly ate the cheese and got away.
It seems we’re fattening the little buggers, which will only encourage them to go forth and multiply.
