James has asthma
James has been coughing a lot at night, so Juliet took him to the doctor today and he thinks that James has asthma.
It may come and go apparently, like it did for Kathleen and Dude, neither of whom suffers from it today. It seems unusual to me that children can have this condition occasionally for a few years and then it goes away, but I’m not complaining if that’s the case.
Margaret has shown no symptoms of it so far.

Try using a room air purifier to reduce James symptoms of coughing. Also a diluted vinegar/water solution is helpful in wiping walls, fans and furniture of dust and other allergens. A small portable one won’t put you in the hole and can have all the latest air purification technology (HEPA, electrostatic precipitators, carbon). Considering indoor air is five times more polluted than indoor air, check out breathepureair.com and see what they have to offer. It’s a great site, easy to use.

There is a new product just come out on the market called the polti & it is endorsed by the British Allergy Association as being highly effective for asthma & allergy suffers at killing dust mites, mould, bacteria in house using super dry steam.
It is basically a vaccum steam cleaner in one with a water based filter. It is made in Italy & it is a top quality product. My kids have asthma bad but this really reduces the problem fast & it is easy to use.
I bought my machine 12 months ago & swear by it. I undertstand from manufacturer that it is just being launched in Australia & there number is 02-8784-4025.
Good luck!

It seems to me that any air purifier that works with water would have some sort of mold build-up type issue. I might have to try that air purifier out. I am very allergic to mold and would probably be able to tell really quick. My voice goes to the frogs!

Thanks Michelle and DrAsthma for those suggestions. We’ll try some of them out. The polti though looks a bit dear for us at £250 or more.

Here’s what I found out, some store owners in shopping squares are poisoning shoppers. My experience has been that many store owners and managers are petty in design calling engineers cruel names like nerds, and assaulting asthmatics as a symbol of what they fear most lawsuits. Nobody’s really safe at store parking lots, and not all store owners are as ugly as automotive store owners are. I am positive stem cell researchers are gonna get it next and be right there inline behind asthmatics and other persons considered to be store liabilities. The least we asthmatics can do to fight back is to stop taking asthma medications and let the chips fall where they land. Small time poisonings in parking lots consists of mercury, lead, PCB’s, and chlorine often times giving people a slight sniffle that doctors inturn call allergies. Which is how asthma “a boa constrictor wrapped around the throat and allergies a sniffel” are compared and linked together. Hardcore asthma is caused when car A/C systems are charged with freon and a leak occurs burning and exhausting smoke on mechanics. PCB’s when burned in car engines will cause brain cancer. There are to many chemicals and cancers to list including but not limited to testical cancer from these things like Lance Armstrong has had. Try and stay focused on grocery store parking lots because I am sure today’s red neck agenda is focused on creating as many allergics and asthmatics as possible. I’ve seen nothing to suggest otherwise as most small business people have shown no kindness or mercy costing me personally hundreds of thousands of dollars, shed breakins and lawnmower spiking, trips to the emergency room with food poisoning, car accidents, and vandalism not to mention false charges. Stay out from behind car exhaust in parking lots and at home, remote car starters give red necks the element of surprise as they stand in store windows watching people try and cross huge parking lots just for fun and kicks. Imagine yourself in downtown Bagdad as you walk across the parking lot never knowing which car may harbor a bomb. By the way a gas tank with a cut of chlorine is called a phosgene gas bomb used in WW1 by Germans and Italians. Finally you’re better off not going to grocery stores that are located in the same parking lots as other stores since small store owners are self taught mercenaries who will take your wallet from you, your job and life at the push of a remote starter on button as you walk beside their car in the parking lot. They’re out to make everyone else asthmatic, not just claratin free of allergies! Doctors are gangsters who say as little as possible when prescribing drugs, and are arrogant of other people’s right to life. Why else would doctors hand out phen-fen to 500 patients and have then return in 9 months with swollen legs and blisters, then prescribe it again to 500 more patients? Small business people specialize in what they can get away with above all else, check out the movie Noah’s Ark with Tony Dansen. That’s a reciepe for disasterous results including but not limited to parking lot wars on patrons. Have you ever seen a parking lot shuttle bus to take you back and forth across those hot lavafields called parking lots? What about mall buses, or islands in the back of parking lots as boarding points ? Telling you to look both ways is alot like Nancy Regan telling you to “Just Say No”. Be Cool! And never reuse a needle or pass one around.
