We’ve finally had some rain! Nearly 70mm has fallen here in the last two days, which is the first decent rain since February.

Porepunkah is in a catchment area, so rain here is important for downstream along the Ovens and Murray Rivers.

A lot more is needed, but hopefully the pendulum has swung in favor of wetter conditions. Our gutters have suffered and one has collapsed, but that’s a small price to pay for much-wanted rain.
