Oh the days. Reading your article was back when the Saints were going ok. They&#039;ve had some rough times lately on the back of back-to-back GF losses a losing streak of 26 and a lack of talent, it looks like a tough road ahead. Although I read the Ben Beams article and he is adament that he wants to leave the club in a better state than when he began. It just seems that it is so hard to compete with the bigger towns with job opportunities and $$. Unless a white knight appears it looks like a long road back. I do think that if Tasmania fold in the VFL I&#039;d reckon a few would head to Myrt and help out Beamer for a season. If the locals stick together and the junior talent stays true all is not lost.
