Which government?

I just read a report in The Age that refers to a decision of the “Bracks Government”.

During my seven years as an editor I insisted on “State Government” or “Victorian Government”. Mr Bracks has formed a government, but he doesn’t own it.

The Liberal Party started this terminology in its media releases during the Kirner years because they knew that her name was a negative with voters. Newspapers shouldn’t be slaves to the spin masters.

The twins hatch
