Ultimate Tag Warrior

I installed the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin for WordPress yesterday. It’s a good way of organising the site and making related content easier to find.

It’s a little trickier to set up than typical plugins but not too difficult if you’re prepared to devote half an hour of concentration.

Not that I’m fussed about web traffic, but tags should help to promote this site on Technorati.

There is a separate widget available for showing tags in the sidebar.

The fun part for me now is tagging my old posts. There are about 2000 articles here. So far I’ve tagged about 250 and I’ll aim to do 20 or so per day.

An interesting discovery looking back to my early posts was that many were unpublished. That must have happened in my transfer from Pivot to WordPress. I’ve now republished some of the more interesting ones.
