We have just returned from a week at Esperance. The weather was great and we made it to the beach on four days. The water was cold but the sun was warm and there wasn’t much wind.

The highlight for Michael and I was going out on the Seabreeze (pictured) to Woody Island. The cruise takes in a couple of other islands and outcrops where we saw sea lions, fur seals, an eagle and Cape Barren geese.

Woody Island has a visitor centre, camping facilities and accommodation.
