Double coffee

I always use at least two heaped teaspoons of coffee when I have a morning brew. I usually add another half teaspoon for good measure.

I don’t know how long I’ve been doing that for, probably since the early 90s when I became a regular coffee drinker. I stopped adding sugar to coffee at that time. I’m a white and none man.

Most days I only drink one coffee, sometimes two.

The two-teaspoon thing draws a few strange looks in the tearoom. I need my coffee to give a decent kick.

It creates a problem when I buy takeaway coffee at non-coffee shops. They usually taste like dishwater.
