Putting refugees/illegal immigrants into detention centres was started by Keatings' Labor government, presumably on the grounds that the decision about who is allowed to settle in Oz should properly be made by the elected government not just anybody who has an opinion. I'm concerned about the inexperience and lack of talent on Labor's front bench. It may be local issues in Kalgoorlie that determine my choice.
