Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Writer released a new version earlier this month. I had tried this desktop blog-posting program before without much success. This is really just a test post.

The program has a sleek design and an intuitive interface.

The advantage of using something like this with WordPress is the simpler ability to wrap text around images and insert tables.

Live Writer comes with a selection of optional plugins, including one that interacts with Flickr accounts.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem possible to insert tags that integrate with the native system in WordPress.

So far so good.

  1. FYI: For native WordPress tagging, hit F2 and then fill in the Keywords field.

    Great, thanks Joe.
