One negative impact of changing my blog address was the inconvenience to subscribers and the loss of some. The other main downside was that I messed with Google, which is probably a very naughty thing to do.
I also sacrificed $30 a month in advertising revenue to make the transition.
I can live with upsetting Google and losing a few dollars, but I am sorry to inconvenience regular readers. Those of you who subscribed using the Feedburner address: http://feeds.feedburner.com/gorey would not have noticed any change.

As it stands, my modest subscriber base has dropped from 34 to 17.
