Weakness in South America

March 5th, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in Personal

The Google visitors map I published recently here shows that this blog has little following in South America or Russia.

Most readers are from Australia, with a healthy number in North America, some in Europe (but none in Iceland), a few in Africa and a handful in Asia.

I have had at least one reader from Brazil, but that’s it for South America. I don’t expect to turn that around given my lack of Portuguese or Spanish, little interest in soccer and zero references to that continent until now.

The poor result in Russia surprises me a little. I once wrote about the Aral Sea disaster, but that’s in Kazakhstan.

I’ll have to think of something to rope in the Russians.
