FeedBlendr
Do you use an online aggregator or desktop software to read RSS feeds? I mostly use Google Reader and have an account at Bloglines as well.
I’ve also discovered FeedBlendr.
It takes the feeds you give it, pulls the individual entries from each of them, sorts them in date order and provides a new, blended feed of all entries.
You can then subscribe to the blended feed or view it as an HTML page.
I use it to view comments on my sites. Email notifications annoy me and having lots of comment feeds in Google Reader also distracts.
I find it easier at work, in particular, to check the FeedBlender site occasionally to see if there’s anything I should moderate or respond to.
It’s handy to bypass the firewall at work as well. I’ve had this site unblocked, but OzComments is still blacklisted.
You can also create a page to embed the blended feed using javascript as I have done here. I can see this potentially being very useful.
The talented guy who devised this has put FeedBlendr up for sale so it’s hard to know how long the service will be available.
