Maggie’s dancing concert

Maggie will be five years old next week (Jim too). She’s been attending dance lessons for two years!

Her second concert performance was held last night at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre. Maggie learns ballet and tap with the MJ Dance Academy, but only performed ballet at the concert, which was danced to a song from The Sound of Music.

Maggie was the smallest and youngest girl in the class, but holds her own pretty well.

She really enjoys the lessons. The teacher is lovely, known to the girls as Miss Chris, and the girls are all referred to as Miss Maggie, etc.

I’m glad I captured this video from the audience. Luckily we were towards the front of the theatre. The official DVD won’t be available until February and I doubt there will be any close-ups of Maggie.
