If I had easy access to a helicopter …

I’d fly to Kangaroo Island this weekend.

South Australia is enduring a heat wave. It should be a lot cooler there, and if it's not I'll escape to the beach.

From their own description: “Plinky makes it easy for you to create inspired content. Every day we provide a prompt (i.e. a question or challenge) and you answer. We make it simple to add rich media and share your answers on Facebook, Twitter and blogs.”

I won’t auto publish here again, but may give longer answers to some of the prompts.

It’s a good writing tool when otherwise bereft of ideas.

A coworker’s mother and aunt are in Australia and will return this weekend. With the differences in temperature they’ll come close to experiencing a 100 degree F change over the course of just a couple of days. It was 110 F there the other day … it’s going to be 2 F here tomorrow morning.

(I can’t recall where the women are — but they reported it was about 120 F (48.8C). I’m not sure how accurate that is.)
