Preparing for Queensland holiday

An exciting few weeks will begin on Friday when we begin the journey to spend two weeks on the beach at Yeppoon in Central Queensland.

First we are going to Moe to see my mother. Juliet and I will spend two nights in Melbourne while Nana minds the kids.

We’ll be viewing Collingwood v Melbourne from a sponsor’s box on Saturday afternoon.

After a couple more days in Gippsland we return to Melbourne and fly out on Thursday for Rockhampton with Tiger Airways.

I booked the seats before Christmas when there was a sale on. Six of us are flying up and back for less than $1800 including baggage.

K Rudd helped us out with some bonus payments, which will pay for the holiday house and hire car. We’ll be staying right on the beach (pictured below).

I probably won’t be writing much here over the next few days, but expect near-daily updates with photos after Thursday.
