Rock Pool Water Park

There were showers in Yeppoon again this morning so we headed 40km to Rockhampton.

Being further inland there is less rain there and that’s how it turned out, with no rain at all.

We visited the Rock Pool Water Park. It’s an impressive facility with three waterslides, a 50-metre swimming pool, pirate-themed mini golf, blaster boats, rock climbing, pool inflatables, jumping castle and jumping pillow.

There was also a decent coffee shop.

The kids had a lot of fun; there really was something for all ages.

The temperature reached 30 degrees and the pool gave some good respite.

I love, love, love, love that last picture. And Maggie looks so sweet in the first picture!

It’s always fun to have a pool on hot days. I’m a little bummed that our local pools will be closed this year for upgrades. We’ll have to frequent my mother’s house. haha.
