I biked to work for the first time today -- it's Bike to Work Week (and Friday is Bike to Work Day) and I used it as an excuse to finally get my butt in gear.

I came the most direct route. It's 1.8 miles, or right at 3km.

It would take me a long time to walk to my work, and that is along a highway, at that. No, thank you. But I do walk down off my hill into town every so often and manage to take in the surroundings.

Your town sounds quite interesting! Warren changes like that too. In the historic district we have the older buildings from the beginnings of Warren, but don't ask me what style they are. Big and fancy, and, sadly, many of them converted to duplex or apartment buildings.

It takes me an hour to walk from Bertha Street to Mark Street,(one way) and a bit longer to thaw out in mid winter.

Does that mean you have longer legs? Michael.
