$90 million OzLotto draw

There is a $90 million OzLotto draw tonight, as most Australians know and have a vested interest in.

Like half the adult population I bought a ticket. I’m also in a syndicate at work.

Joining the syndicate seemed a no-brainer. I couldn’t think of anything much worse than working tomorrow knowing that most of my colleagues were millionaires and I wasn’t.

And as for buying my own ticket. Much as I’d love to share the prize with my workmates, I’d prefer not to.

I asked the general manager today who’d be running the show tomorrow if the syndicate wins. We reckon there are a couple of inserters and a bloke in the press room who didn’t join the syndicate. They could be in line for promotion.

I’ve got no idea how I would spend $90 million.

Funny thing is I could easily spend $1 million in a single day.

I reckon I’d pay off the mortgages, put some money aside for the kids and my retirement, buy shares and make some lifestyle “improvements”.

There would be a little spending money left, but not much.
