HTC Magic on Telstra

I have a HTC Magic Google Android phone working on the Telstra network in Australia.

I bought the phone on eBay from Hong Kong and installed a ROM that added the Google features, including Android Market.

I’ll write this weekend in more detail about the process (which isn’t easy).

    Android?

Is it a Chinese belly ache or celestial space craft carrying magnificent men in their flying machines??

Even sounds like an awful health condition that does not respond to nasal spray.

Please fess up Michael….the suspense is not working for me.

So you have it working on the 850 network with hsdp? or is it just G2

It’s using EDGE. I understand that’s meant to be slow, but I haven’t noticed any problems browsing, checking email, downloading apps or viewing YouTube.

I guess living life on the EDGE can be a bit slow for some…yes I’m a bit slow on techno stuff…or is that meant to be thick?
