Kathleen (15) found Maggie (5) crying tonight. She asked her what was wrong, but Maggie didn’t want to say because she said Kathleen would get sad too.
Maggie was watching The Wizard of Oz for the first time.
She was crying because she thought Dorothy was going to die.
I thought it was really sweet that Maggie didn’t want someone else to be sad. What a lovely instinct in a child, or anyone for that matter.
That IS very sweet of her. It sounds like she’s a sensitive child. That’s good. I think we need more sensitive people in the world.
