We had our first frost of the year this morning. It’s not a big one by July standards, but cold enough at 0.4 degrees on the verandah.
There’s normally at least one or two frosts in April, so this one is a little late in coming.
Driving to Wodonga this morning I noticed the incongruity of tobacco crops being watered to prevent frost damage. Apparently it’s very effective.
