Family trip to Beechworth

James swimming

We enjoyed a family outing today to Beechworth. I vacated the driver’s wheel at Everton and rode my bike up the hill, meeting everyone else at Lake Sambell.

It was a hot day and I admit to feeling a little stressed at the finish, so a dip in cold water was just the tonic. The Victorian Bugs (Bicycle Users Group) were tackling the same stretch of trail as well, all 136 of them. I think I passed half of them on the way up.

Kathleen and Dude rode back down the hill with me. It was a slow trip for Dude on his little bike.

James and Margaret had fun swimming in the lake, especially James.
