I don’t think so. This is personal use and there was no copyright symbol on the paperwork. Interesting issue though, and one that rises more frequently through web publication. We wouldn’t have paid for the picture if we knew that we didn’t get to own the rights to it.

Nice photo, and interesting to see the kids in summer attire while Santa is decked out in his normal winter duds. Not that I expected to see him in a tank top and wearing budgie smugglers.
Speaking of copyright — I had a guy send me a photoshopped picture of something I’d photographed as an introduction to try to sell me something. (A customer of his had used the photo to win a contest.) At the time I had a copyright notice up and, well, the whole thing just hit me as funny.
I think anyone who is brave enough to get into a pair of speedos, deserves copyright hall of fame status.
