I’ve spent most of today designing a new web site for Bogong GP Training. The brief is different from most of my projects in that the site will be fairly static and must look attractive.
Generally I specialise in content management systems. I like them to look good, but mostly you have to sacrifice some creativity for functionality.
A pure HTML site requires more thinking to develop. The menu also has to be carefully planned, because you don’t want to be changing multiple pages. I downloaded a DHTML/Javascript menu creator from AllWebMenus.
It took a little practice to get used to it, but I’m happy with the results so far.
