He’s sorry

In the paper today we had a full-page color ad from some bloke saying sorry to his wife, girlfriend or significant sheila (but almost certainly not his mother).
I have to confess that I missed the ad until tonight when I was reading at a more leisurely pace. The ad says:
Sorry Princess. I’m sorry for all [...]

Mobile version of site

Using Mofuse I was able to create a mobile version of this site. You can see a link in the banner or simply go to http://mgorey.mofuse.mobi for a look.
I checked it on my phone’s browser and it is easier to scan the articles and main content.
Mofuse fetches the content via an RSS feed, begging the [...]

Opera removes ads

The popular Opera web browser is now available without advertising. Although unobtrusive, I never liked having the ads there and used Opera infrequently.

Why did they remove the ads: “Opera’s growth, due [...]

Free hosting service

If you’re an Alpine Shire resident you can now take advantage of my free hosting service at www.alpineshire.com.
There are some limitations, such as 1MB in size, and these are explained on the site. The URL should be quite attractive for local business and individuals, ie http://www.alpineshire.com/username.
There’s nothing in it for me except some advertising [...]

Web browsers

I see that Opera has released a new version of its web browser. I’ve never been tempted to try Opera, because there’s a fee to remove the advertising links, but I may have a look at this out of curiosity.
I stopped using Internet Explorer a long time ago. I didn’t like the constant popups and [...]
