Weekend at Esperance

We enjoyed a long weekend on the coast at Esperance. The weather was warm enough for swimming on Saturday but the wind picked up and it was cooler on Sunday. We drove to Cape Le Grande National Park, about 60km from the town, and I took this photo of Lucky Bay.

Impressions of Esperance

I mentioned earlier that we were heading to Esperance, which we did last weekend, but due to work commitments I haven’t had a chance to post my impressions until now. It’s nearly a four-hour drive from Kalgoorlie via Norseman. The countryside changes from forested scrub to farmland about 70km from Norseman, or 110km from Esperance. [...]
