One of my Facebook friends posted this comment: “Change your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until Monday, there should be no human faces on facebook, but a stash of memories. This is for eliminating violence against children. Support the walk against child abuse.” A worthy cause and it was interesting to reflect on childhood cartoons. I used to watch the Roadrunner, of course, Daffy Duck, Tom and Jerry, etc. However, my favorites at different times were probably Gigantor, Kimba and Wacky Races.

Easter Bunny

The kids were up early today for an Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny left 30 eggs around the yard last night, but the kids only found 24 of them. The neighbor’s cat looked pretty happy this morning.

Tennis talent

Michael has just finished his first season of competitive tennis. He won his singles and doubles matches in the grand final, but his team lost by one game. The final score was something like 8 sets 43 games to 8-42.
