There’s an interesting opinion piece in The Age about how Australian travellers are perceived overseas. Basically we are considered arrogant. I travelled in 1991 and the perception was emerging then. WA speed limit debate

A 100kmh speed limit has been proposed in Western Australia.

The Office of Road Safety in Western Australia has released a discussion paper, which proposes reducing the speed limit in regional areas from 110kmh to 100kmh.
