I've had two MRI's the last three years. I remember the first time I was getting ready to lay on the table the tech said, "This will take about 35 minutes."

I told the tech I was a bit surprised, as on TV they put a guy in an MRI machince, go to commercial, and when they come back to the show he's coming out. I really expected it to be a minute or so.

I had headphones so I could listen to music -- yea, like that would work over the noise of the machine.

(I know CT scans aren't the same as MRIs ... but they're close enough for blogging)

As for chiropractors ... I've known two people who have gone to them and they both have good things to say about the experience.

Thanks Nick. A week ago I would have said that was crazy, but everything sounds promising just now. I might give it a go.

Mate as crazy as it sounds, try yoga. I am a fairly boofy bloke and I had neck and back issues which also resulted in headaches in Europe. I tried yoga on the advice my flatmate at the time. And the symptoms started to alleviate. I feel that it was an alignment issue. Tough stuff the old yoga but it is better then going near chiropracters. Manipluation of joints especially in the neck could lead to worse problems.
Hope it helps.
