The passion just isn't there. I believe we should have been allowed to merge with North Melbourne. Dyson Hore-Lacey's book reveals that Richmond led the veto brigade, fearing a super club. The Lions went on to win three premierships, so their fears were realised anyway. I try to like the Lions (I refuse to call them Brisbane), but I can’t get real excited about them.
