Our fridge died a few weeks before Easter. Fortunately we have a bar fridge and that has served our needs so far as we head into winter.
We rang every refrigeration mechanic in the Yellow Pages, but none would help us.
They were only interested if the fridge was still under warranty, and it’s not.
What does that suggest?
They said it’s too hard to get parts, although the fridge is only five years old and apparently they’ll make the effort if it’s under warranty.
I wonder if the amount they charge a manufacturer under warranty has anything to do with their attitude?
If this cold weather keeps up Michael you will probably be able to put the fridge plan on hold.
You might be comforted by my thoughts about dying in Mount Gambier during winter…at least you won’t be getting on the nose, as you line up in the ques for fridge space at the morgue.
Just imagine not having to be put on ice while you wait your turn; embalming won’t be a must do in 30 minutes, for the nice men in black tails & pin stripes.
