Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has reportedly asked to be paid in euros rather than US dollars.
Bündchen was one of Victoria’s Secret Angels from 2000 until 2006. Since 2004, she has been the highest-paid model in the world and the 16th richest woman in the entertainment industry, with an estimated $70 million fortune.
She was said to be concerned about the weakness of the greenback. Fair enough too. The Australian dollar is heading towards parity and some analysts tip US$1.50 against the euro.
