Arrival of the Burgdorfs

Daniel Burgdorf and his wife Augusta Springer, from Steinbruck in Hanover, departed Hamburg aboard the Reiherstieg on April 4, 1852, arriving in Sydney on August 5, 1852. The 300-ton Hamburg brig was built at Reiherstieg by JC Godeffroy & Sohn. The master was TP Sparbohm and there were 99 passengers.
