Kathleen’s team won the under 15 girls hockey grand final today.
It was a combined team of West Gambier and Portland girls, because neither club had the numbers to field a side in their own right.
It was a good achievement to win, because they weren’t able to train as a full team during the year (Portland is 120km away).
There was a fairly big crowd at the hockey stadium, creating a good atmosphere, with lots of people decked out in club colors. The weather was nice for a change too.
