Juliet had an interesting view on Kevin Rudd’s visit to a New York strip club. She’s politically neutral, but dislikes John Howard, so I thought it would be revealing to test her reaction to the news.
She wasn’t surprised that a Christian politician would get drunk and touch up strippers.
“He should have come to Hay Street, Kalgoorlie, instead of costing taxpayers money going to New York,” she said.
“Nobody here would have recognised him.”
I’m not sure about that, and I’m in the “don’t care” brigade when it comes to judging Rudd’s humanity.
My guess is it may actually help him in the polls. He was starting to look robotic.
