		<description>I definitely went to the wrong high school.  The only thing that got us out of class was a doctor&#039;s excuse.  

That said, I wouldn&#039;t be able to lie about that to my husband. I am not sure how or why some women do that.</description>

		<description>American women are seemingly able to have a period whenever it suits them.  It starts in high school, for example if they need to get out of gym class, and continues into dating and marriage ... &quot;not now, I&#039;m on my period&quot; ... without regard to the calendar.

I&#039;m assuming this power over them can also keep them at bay for extended periods (of time).
