There has been renewed discussion about capital punishment since revelations that some of Victoria’s killer bushfires were deliberately lit. It’s an emotive issue, of course. Victoria has not hanged anyone since 1967. Pros: Deterrence, punishment, save incarceration costs. Cons: Brutal, risk of error. What do you think? Comment here or…
