Juliet and I bought a new Kia Rio today (pictured, except we got a green one).
We’ve managed since late January with only one vehicle. I let Juliet have the Suzuki on Tuesday and Thursday, and other days as needed.
She either drives me to work on those days or I ride the bike.
It was getting harder though, especially with Dude playing sport and needing transport to soccer or basketball. Juliet was needing the car three days a week and sometimes immediately after I got home from work.
The new car cost us $15,990 all inclusive. It’s a small five-seater but quite roomy and comfortable in the front.
We looked at some bigger used cars, but most of them cost a lot more and had thousands of kilometres on the clock.
As the new car will mostly be used for transporting kids around town we think it’s a pretty good deal.
