Now having broadband I’m starting to explore the joy of internet radio. There are many stations from many countries playing a huge variety of music. The world is really our oyster.
I like doing this best in Kanotix using Streamtuner, which lists a big number of stations automatically.
It’s a great way to hear music that isn’t ordinarily available. My favorites are Dutch and Irish music stations, some country and reggae.
Streamtuner is a stream directory browser. Through the use of a plugin system, it offers an intuitive GTK+ 2.0 interface to Internet radio directories such as SHOUTcast and Live365.
