I stopped checking the weather forecast for a while and I didn’t miss anything because every day was 23 degrees. The temperature is now starting to increase and the forecast for Tuesday is 27 degrees. These figures are incomprehensible in May for someone from cooler climes in Victoria. First hockey game

A day after his first soccer game Dude played his first hockey match. It’s an under 13 competition and at age 10 he’s one of the smallest boys. Soccer is his school year group. Dude did pretty well at hockey and won his share of the ball.

I’ve set up an online picture gallery at Flickr. It saves my bandwith, the photos can be linked to anywhere and there’s virtually unlimited storage. The service is affiliated with Yahoo and carries small advertisements. It’s very neat and sure beats uploading pictures to my own server.
First soccer game

Dude played his first soccer game today and scored a goal in his team’s 11-0 victory against the Coolgardie Bushbashers. James and Margaret joined the team huddle at half time and helped themselves to oranges.
